Estimate to invoice - Pro feature
The most common workflow: send an estimate, client approves, you do the work, then you need an invoice with the same line items but different status.
On Pro and Business plans, a single button converts the estimate into a numbered invoice. All items, amounts, and client info carry over. You change the date and send.
Pro plan - $12.42/mo billed annually
Unlimited estimates, estimate-to-invoice conversion, logo on documents.

Can I convert my estimate to an invoice?
Yes, on Pro and Business plans. Create an estimate, send it to your client, and when approved, convert it to a numbered invoice in one click. All line items and data copy over automatically.
What is the difference between an estimate and a quote?
Functionally the same in InvoDraft. You can label the document as Estimate, Quote, or Proposal. An estimate is typically an approximate price range; a quote is a firm, fixed price commitment.
Can I create a construction estimate with materials and labor separately?
Yes. The Construction Estimate type includes separate line item rows where you can label materials, labor, permits, and any other cost category clearly.
Is the estimate template free?
Yes. Free for up to 3 documents per month. No account or credit card required.
Can clients approve the estimate online?
Not yet - that feature is on our roadmap. For now, you download the PDF and send it to your client via email. They sign and return it, or reply with approval.
What if the actual cost changes after I send the estimate?
Estimates are non-binding unless you specify otherwise. Send a revised estimate if the scope changes, or include a note about price variance terms in the Notes field.
